    It all began in 2010. This was the year I began my journey as an Aboriginal artist and tying my culture into my clothing designs.

    The Spirit Tree Collection travelled to Fashion Exposed 2011, in Naarm (Melbourne), this was funded through the former NSW Department of Industry and Investment.

    Torres Strait Island Flag Dress, 2013 Deadly Dressed Competition for the Sunset Ceremony at The Deadly's. Modelled by Majeda Beatty. This dress was recognised by Bernard Namok Junior who gave his bleesing for this dress to embody the spirit of his father Bernard Namok Senior, the artist of the Torres Strait Islander Flag.

    In 2011, I created my first collection Spirit Tree. Modelled by the lovely Tahny Lew-Fatt.

    This picture was taken with the Honourable Victor Dominello, Minister for Citizenship and Communities and Minister for Aboriginal Affairs (2011-2014). Displaying my first artwork "Building Communities", which was part of the Angus Knight art competition and exhibition.

    In 2014, I was sponsored by Spotlight to work in collaboration with Babbarra Womens Centre in Arhnem Land for Australian Indigenous Fashion Week. I spent 2 days in the community, which opened my eyes to the disadvantages faced in remote communities and one of the main drivers to develop Made On Country a few years later.

    This is the dress that started everything. In 2010, I made this dress "rainbow Serpent" for the Deadly Dressed competition for The Deadly's  Sunset Ceremony. This dress took me a number of hours to complete, all rouching done by hand, and thousands of diamantes glued onto the serpent. (October 2010)
